From Syrinx by Claude Debussy, through works by André Caplet, Philippe Gaubert and Reynaldo Hahn, to Albert Roussel and Frank Martin, the programme unfolds in a wide expressive arc. With Shéhérazade by Maurice Ravel, a world of light and exotic colour opens — an invitation to listen, to dream, and to pause.
