FIRST CALL #LIEDINNOVATION

Changes within society are reflected in culture and its reception. We are convinced that the art of song is more relevant than ever in its themes, but also in its proximity and immediacy towards the public. At the same time, it is important to break new ground as an artist, re-examining the art of song as well as its audience.

JURY STATEMENT

The concept promises an original, participatory, and sensual evening that allows the art song to be experienced anew through the connection with love songs from diverse genres.

The semi-staging with video installation and crossover style offers individual points of reference for a diverse audience – through the music, the performance, and the involvement of the local population. The individual songs from Baroque to Björk offer a varied evening for both song fans and broader interest groups.

By calling for the submission of personal love stories and their implementation during the event, the audience is already engaging with their own memories and the upcoming concert evening. We are excited about this beautiful project!
