The festival was opened by the young Swiss baritone Äeneas HUMM and the international renowned pianist Hartmut HÖLL with a deep romantic programme by Schumann, Wolf and Grieg.
The Swiss Bass bariton Manuel POLLINGER presented a song concert for children, together with the pianist Meta CERV and young dancers from Tanz A+O, who illustrated th dances of ghosts and elves.
The founder of the festival Franziska HEINZEN and the pianist Benjamin MEAD dedicated their recital to the world renowned poet Rainer Maria RILKE, who is buried not far from Brig. The concert was recorded and broadcast by the Swiss Radio Station SRF 2 KULTUR. You can still listen to the recording via this link or read the review of the concert here. The festival ended at the river RHONE with short open air concerts in Mühlebach, Obergesteln and Gampel. Below you can watch a short documentary about this adventure.
